Dear Editor. I won't take up much of your time. Bramble has now been unsuccessful on five occasions. I have stopped requesting the criteria. I no longer expect them. I enclose a recent photograph, in case it assists. He is sitting in it. He does that when asked, which I had thought would count for something. My wife has not commented on this latest rejection, and I am reporting that to you rather than reading anything into it.

Teddy's review of the Happy Gecko Hostel requires a response. I stayed there in 2019 and found it perfectly pleasant. If Teddy has a problem with guitars, he shouldn't be staying in a hostel. I don't know what Teddy's problem is, but I suspect it's Teddy.

I showed my friend Deb the tuk tuk photo and she immediately spotted the man in the background pointing. I said it was probably nothing. Deb said she wasn't so sure. That was two weeks ago and Deb hasn't let it go. I'm not saying it's your fault but I'd appreciate some kind of statement so that Deb will move on.

Dear Editor. I write to formally request the selection criteria for the Dog of the Week feature. My spaniel, Bramble, has been unsuccessful on four separate occasions despite what I consider to be an objectively strong application. I'd appreciate the criteria in writing so that I may review Bramble's candidacy accordingly. I'm copying this to my wife, who feels more strongly about it than I do.
